Ajak Majok

Ajak Majok is a Finnish activist, politician, and perfomer. She was a candidate with Vasemmistoliitto (the Finnish Left Alliance) in both the Finnish and European parliamentary elections in 2019.

Besides being a dear friend and someone i look up to, Ajak was also my first web development and UX design client. Version 1.0 of her site was built in a week with just HTML and CSS, while the current version boosts more exciting and modern technologies, as well as a content management system that allows my client to have full control over her content.

Ajak had a very clear aesthetic in mind: boldness, a particular shade of purple, and lots of visual appeal. i was able to deliver a design that made my client happy without compromising accessibility considerations.
